Fuji MX-500:

The Fuji MX-500 was available from 1979 to 1982. It was not a race bike, but more of a budget starter bike. Specifications remained largely the same through its product life cycle, droping a few pounds a long the way. Though, not sure where the weight reduction came from. They did change to an SR alloy stem from a "steel" stem in 1983, but pretty sure there isn't a 2lb difference there.
